A Space for Adults to Be Heard and Understood

Are you navigating a difficult life change, complex emotions, or simply a feeling that something needs to shift? I'm a person-centred counsellor dedicated to offering a creative and relational space where you can feel truly heard, understood, and supported.

My core belief is that every person has an innate capacity for healing and growth. My role is to provide a calm, non-judgmental environment that allows this process to unfold at your pace. I don't focus on labels or diagnoses; instead, we will gently explore what feels most present for you and how your unique needs can be met.

My Approach: Talking and Beyond

My approach is grounded in the belief that warmth, genuine connection, and flexibility are central to effective therapy. While our sessions are primarily a space for talking, I know that sometimes words aren't enough—especially when dealing with painful or complex experiences.

For this reason, I offer opportunities to use creative means of expression, such as drawing. These tools can provide a different pathway to explore feelings and experiences that might be too difficult to approach directly through words alone.

This flexible approach is informed by my 20 years of experience working with people in various circumstances, including child protection, education, and charity work. My ongoing work with children in a primary school, using creative, arts-based approaches, continually deepens my understanding of emotional expression and relational safety, insights that profoundly enrich my work with adult clients as well.
